How do you set up email notifcation for new topics? IS there a timeframe on when you may have the notify moderator of new posts available?

After login into the system, then select a particular topic, on the bottom you can see the subscription email icon. The same button is used for subscribe/unsunscribe.

Hi Thomas (and all)

The admin person does not login often, so they do not see the pending posts.  Having an email notification to the admin whenever a new post is submitted would be awesome and save the admin from login in every couple hours to see what posts are pending.

Any chance we can get this feature added?

There is a functionality to get email notification for Administrator and moderators. Please enable this on the ccBoard Global Config.

Thanks for the reply.  I have tried every setting I could find the the global config already.  Perhaps you'd be so kind as to describe what we need to do for this?  No matter what I try, no email goes to the administrator.

Goto ccBoard global config, then select security tab.

Then set the email notification to moderators/administrator and click save

Hi Thomas! I need your help with this please. I have installed CCBoard onto my website, the latest version, and i would need your help for removing the Unsubscribe option from the forum. I mean i want users to be able to subscribe but not unsubscribe. It's a faculty forum, and the reason i want to remove the Unsubscribe is  that i want the users, once registered, to keep receiving all the important messageg from the dean, until graduating.
