I got this error when clicked new topiv.

Fatal error: Class 'JSessionStorageDatabase' not found in /home/...c_html/components/com_ccboard/views/post/view.html.php on line 128

 

it worked fine for 2 posts, then i added plugin search for ccboard, I tried after disabling, but same error

Hi,

 

solved, the bug is in captcha, when i disabled captcha for guest/registered users, and kept it as default, only guest, Its gone...

Hi,

Actually there is no bug in captcha. The problem is either the joomla session is configured wrongly or you dont have write permission to the session folder (may be apache/php session permission).

 As you can see ( i got the same error while creating a new post too) 

it must be an permission problem in the assets folder

(images like avatars, user ranks etc. are stored there).

You can solve this problem very easy.

 *Login to your FTP

*give CHMOD 777 to the following folder, underfolders and files:

/XXXX/components/com_ccboard/assets

XXXX is the name of your main forum folder.

For me it solves the problem.

(You can give the capture settings to anyone you want without problems)

I have also saves trouble when I go to insert a new post with the following error what can I do? I did procedira described above and nothing but the same problem Fatal error: session_start() [function.session-start]: Failed to initialize storage module: user (path: /tmp_r) in /membri/celb/components/com_ccboard/views/post/view.html.php on line 128

Hi,

Please change your session storage area to database from Joomla config. Then you can edit your language file with the required words.

joomlaroot/lanaguages/xx-xx/com_ccboard.ini

Changing the session storage to database worked for me. The problem is the database to store session data adds about 25 seconds and more to the page serve up time on my joomla site.

Is there any way to get ccboard to not need sessions stored in the database?

Hi,

I wonder there is no way that it should take 25 seconds.. There may be some other problems. If you are not going to use database session storage, then use should have proper write permission to the session folder, which is set in PHP.

Or you can disable CAPTCHA..

Hello, when i click new topic I see this message:

How can I resolve it? I need some information because I am new in "this world". Thank's
