Hi Thomas, I have recently installed ccBoard on my site, but my moderators are pushing me to convert to another forum. These are the issues that they confront me with. - "New posts" feature
ccBoard has a latest posts feature but this is a real chore to go through and to keep an overview of. My moderators just want a "new post" system that works like any other forum, i.e. a different icon if front of a new post (and a mark as read feature).

I know you've heard that over and over and that you propose people to use the announcement features, but that becomes very chaotic. My moderators are really annoyed by this and I agree with them tbh.
I could manually convert to Kunena or phpBB3 with the bridge extension, but I would like to save myself the time. Looking at this forum it seems that a new update can't be that far away. So my question is... when do you plan to release a new update and will it shut my moderators up? :-) Thanks and keep up the good work, I really like your work. |
