Well, i'm really nothing of a developer. I can't REALLY program in any language, BUT!

I've seen here only a script for PARTIAL migration from phpbb2... I took that one,

and started testing and chalanging my SQL knowledge.

so far, i can migrate most of the things,

non the less, I seem to have arrived somewhat of a problem.

how can i manage with the fact that phpbb3 and ccboard - are reading the posts' text in a different way?

in other words - phpbb puts inside al kinds of code, bbcode, and the such - that ccboard cannot read normally. (even small changes like &emp kind of codes for example).

can someone please help me on the matter?

I'd be happy to share what i've done so far, even though it's no real script but rather a groqing collection of SQL SELECT commands - for extracting th right data out of the phpbb tables, so it could be manually imported to the ccboard tables.
