ccBoard is a Bulletin Board extension/component for Joomla! 1.5. it is not the bulky and brdiged board. It's a lean, fast and 100% native Joomla! 1.5.x board that doesn't skimp on features. This document covers what's new, download and installation instructions, Bug Fixes for the ccBoard 1.0-RC release. Please read these notes before reporting any bugs to our support forum. Thanks.
What's New
A few of the features new to this release include: | 
| - One-Touch-Migration
It has never been easier to Migrate from Fireboard, Kunena, F!BB until now. Migrate all your posts, avatars, ranks, signatures, uploads and what not!. With the integrated migration tool from the administration dashboard, now you can import everthing and anything from FB variant boards with One-Click. The migration manager is the new generation of hassle free importing in the history of Joomla!. Just install ccBoard and give a try, you wont regret it.
| - Full featured integration with CB and Jomsocial
The board now overcomes almost all the limitations in the front of integration. Now the users can enjoy all the user management functionalities without sacrificing anything. Resizing CB/Jomsocial avatars to maintain the correct aspect ratio, default avatar display, if there isn't any. Updating to CB/Jomsocial with user profile parameters like Ranks, post count etc and even a nicely managed Karma points as well.

- Moderation
ccBoard is now equipped with all the moderation functionalities in a easy way. Even a layman can now manage the Board without even reading any How-To. Topic Locking, Forum Locking, Review, Thread moving between the Forums, Post Spliting and many more. Enjoy the power of moderation at its best.
- BBCode Editor
Tired of having a heavy editor ?. Here comes the lightning fast editor for you. It supports all the standard BBCode Tags. The parsing engine is built upon the famous parser NBBC. All the CSS classes are part of the BBCode now can be edited directly from Theme manager. So you can customize your Quote, Code, Attachments tags etc. Apart from all these, now administrator can decide which editor should be used by ccBoard from administration panel. Be the first one to place the Smiley with a  face.
- SEO/SEF
Now onwards ccBoard supports 100% full fledged search engine friendly and optimized URLs. Forum headings and thread headings are encoded into URL for getting more rating from the search engines. No other Joomla based board posses this unique feature, this gives you a competitive advantage in the front of web business.
- Ranks
Now administrators can create any number of Ranks. Including special ones like Admin, Moderator etc.. Loaded with 4 set of ranks images, that suites your template. Or you can create your own Rank images. All of this can be managed and maintained from the administration panel.
- Avatar/Attachments
One of the prolonged request was to have the upload avatar feature. This has been fulfilled with this release. Now administrator can allow/disallow avatar uploads, Limit the size of the avatars, file types and even change the aspect ratio of the avatars. ccBoard now has the capability to attach any number of files including attachment notes. Attachment related securities can be placed like size limit, extension limit etc.

Download, Install and UninstallPlease download the ccBoard extension/component from our download section. Download: http://codeclassic.org/the-downloads.html Once you have downloaded the zip file install the same by using Joomla installation manager. Please see the How-To section for a detailed step-by-step instruction. To uninstall goto Joomla Administration Panel, select install/uninstall from extensions menu, change to the component tab and select ccBoard and click uninstall. Enjoy Thomas |
