Dashboard
The administration panel is equipped with a grpahical dashboard, which enables easy and quick access to most of the key areas in the panel. All these key areas are classified based on their functionality and are provided as Tab pages. Categories
Unlimited number of categories can be created. Category display order can be configured prioritizing the Forum groups.
Forums
Forum are associated with a category. Forum can be either moderated or normal. Using the permission system admin can set the view permission as well as post permission. Forums display order can also be configured to set priority. Forums can be set in review mode, which in turn enables the approval cycle. | Tools
The tools menu contains houskeeping functionalities like Syncing users, Database Upgradation and One-Touck Migration from other boards. ccBoard upgrades are easy, coz all the database upgradation are now a part of the administration itself. No need to mess with SQLs anymore. Theme
The look and feel of the board is now based on style sheets. Admin can easily adjust the styles without hacking into any core files. Global Configuration

ccBoard can be configured to use the default user profile or Community Builder profile or Jomsocial profile. Being 100% native, joomla users will automatically become ccBoard users. Each user can have an inbuilt or custom avatar based on his choice. Signature is another feature that they can utilize. Signature field is now 100% BBCode friendly. Ranks
Now any number of ranks can be created. ccBoard is bundled with 4 colored rank packs including half-ranks. Ranks can be either normal (post count based) or special. Special rank images are also bundled. Moderators and Admin can use special ranks, which is handled separately, other wise not based on post counts.

CAPTCHA can be enabled to prevent spamming. ccBoard now has the capability configure the CAPTCHA based on the logged in user level. Time based editing is one another feature in this board. After a configured time interval, users are restricted from editing their own posts. Bad Words Filter
While posting, messages are parsed to remove the bad words if any. Any number of bad words can be configured from the administration panel. Karma
One of the recent addition to ccBoard is the Karma system. Karam indicators are now a part of the user profiles. | Uploads
File uploads as attachments can be enabled or disabled from the administration panel. Admin can now restrict the upload based on file type, size, user level etc.. Avatar uploads are also now permitted as a part of the user profile management. Any number of files can be attached to a message, including attachment note. CB/Jomsocial Integration
User profiles can be now taken from the popular community managers like CB/Jomsocial. ccBoard is now well integrated with these applications. Search
