How to Enable Guest Posting

From ccBoard version 1.1-RC, guests can submit messages in the forum. Allowing guests to post a message is configured on a forum basis. In other words, each forum can allow or disallow guest posting, so that unnecessary or irrelevant posts can be avoided from your more valued forums. General discussions are one such area in which guests are allowed to post. But it is not mandatory that guests should be allowed to post.

Goto Joomla! Administration area, from the ccBoard dashboard select Forums, and edit/create forums

Please select the Post Access area as Guest, to enable guest to post messages on the said forum. It would be ideal to enable CAPTCHA for guest from the Global Configuration to avoid spamming.

Note: While selecting a post access, the selected access level and above are eligible for posting to this forum.
